Benz W204 Key Blade Problem with Xhorse Key Cutting Machine
A user inquired about a Benz W204 vehicle and encountered difficulties aligning the blade on the
Xhorse key cutting machine. Despite attempting to make blade, the resulting blade I tried to make key did not successfully open the car, hu64 should be?
Max it won’t go more.
- Here is the solution:
After cutting you need to file down shoulder on blade. It’s too far from factory, which prevents blade to be fully inserted to lock. Once you file it down, blade will go all the way to lock and will work.
These shoulders need to file down, but file down on aftermarket. Keep original blade, read it and then cut, and then file down.

- Xhorse users can also try:
Utilize Xhorse IKeycutter Condor XC-MINI Plus II, a versatile device compatible with various car key types, including Benz W204 from 2010 onwards, then use key duplicate way to cut new keys.
Select the cutting method based on bitting and specifically choose Benz HU64 key type.
To determine the right option, refer to the key type information.
Enter the tooth number acquired from the Lishi two-in-one tool into condor 2 via the tooth profile processing interface.
